We don’t believe in ‘ad soup’. A page full of non-related ads distracts our subscribers and dilutes your message. We believe in intelligent, targeted promotion opportunities that are congruent with our subscribers’ lifestyle.

We have two primary Ad zones.

  1. Title Sponsor Zone: A prime location to promote your business, or to promote an event in advance. This zone is exclusive on our weekly email and is reinforced on the homepage we direct our subscribers to.
  3. Event Detail Zone: This zone appears on all of our secondary pages for Event Details. This shared zone rotates with a limited number of sponsors so you don’t get lost in the mix.

Advertising FAQs

Q: Is this a free site?
A: This Week In Denver is free to our subscribers. Regular event listings are also free for venues and event promoters. The spots listed here are available for advertisers.

Q: Does This Week In Denver do trades?
A: At this time all of our ad placements are paid. We do consider trades for promotional giveaways. Contact us for details.

Q: Do you have special rates for non-profit organizations?
A: Yes. We’d be happy to make accommodations for non-profits.

Q: How will I know if my campaign was effective?
A: This Week In Denver can provide you with campaign statistics after the completion of your campaign.

Q: Does This Week In Denver accept net 30 payment terms?
A: eCalendar ads are pre-paid, payable by check, paypal or wire transfer prior to running your promotion.

Advertising Specs & Scheduling

Please provide all assets in digital format. For logos and identity, an .eps or .ai file is preferred. A high-resolution Photoshop file with alpha channel is also acceptable. Photographs must be professional quality and at least 72dpi and 500px wide for the main artwork, and 50px wide for Weekly Spotlights.

Ad Deadlines

For our weekly eCalendar, please have all of your assets to us at least 2 weeks in advance of our Friday publishing deadline. We will send you a sample of your promotion for confirmation and proofing before our Monday eCalendar sendout.
